The Musée de la Gaspésie is a regional museum institution that is the place to (re)discover the history of the fabulous peninsula of the Gaspé.

The exhibits of the Musée de la Gaspésie focuses primarily on Gaspesian history, art, heritage and culture.

The museum is home to the Centre d’Archives de la Gaspésie, a place open to all where you can consult and use the regional archives for genealogical research, among other things.

In the Boutique, you’ll also find unique products that are 100% Gaspesian. The museum also publishes “Magazine Gaspésie” one of the oldest history magazines in Québec, which will charm you with the quality of its content and the variety of themes covered.
