St. Andrew’s Anglican Church is a Christian Church of the Anglican faith located in New Carlisle. St. Andrew’s is a part of the Anglican Diocese of Québec. It is a congregation of the Parish of New Carlisle: described as a three-point Parish that includes the St. Mary Magdalene, New Richmond and St. James Hopetown. The rector of St. Andrew’s is also responsible for the Parish of Chaleur Bay which includes St. James’ Port-Daniel, and St. Paul’s Shigawake. Both Parishes often join together for worship and other activities, as the goal of both Parishes is to seek to be a faithful community of Christians within the Anglican tradition on the Gaspé peninsula.
